Question Tips & Hints for installing Clutch Tuning Kit, Removal of Drive Clutch

I have a clutch tuning kit, that changes the spring in the drive clutch. This allows for higher idle speeds without engaging the belt. I have already installed the switch/ignition that allows for starting without the normal gas pedal start. I can idle in nuetral, but I have to keep the idle speed pretty low so that I can still shift into F or R.....I have read some threads about removal of the drive clutch and I am dreading it. I have the needed removal tool, but I think I also need a puller to open it up to change the spring.

Any suggestions, hints, tips that might make my nervous energy go away????

Removing the drive clutch is actually pretty easy, (easier if the cart is lifted)

You have a clutch puller (removal tool as you say)
no other "special" tools are required to take the drive clutch apart,
Read into that 05 pdf manual... it'll help you with everything!

Pulled that clutch today....piece of cake....it popped right off no problems at all, I had to drop the spring on that side but it was no big deal since I had just installed it last week. Got the new spring put into the clutch, lubricated the nylons with graphite and reassembled, seems to work just fine....Thanks again for the piece of mind!
