Default 51 Volts - 12 Hours

What does 51 Volts after 12 hours off charger tell me? Based on ScottyB chart they are 100% but thought I remember reading somewhere that I should be closer to 53 volts.

I also did hydrometer readings and they all were in the 1.26 range.

I charged my pack 3 days ago and my voltage is at 51.8v. If I remember correctly ~48.4 volts and the pack is 50% spent. I'm going to plot me a 1 mile course and 12 hours after my next charge cycle I'm going to run this coarse at different speeds and record the voltage drop. This will give me an idea of how many miles I can go on a charge at a given speed. Sorry for the winded response but your question got me thinking.

53 V is closer to once you pull it off the charger that's a surface charge after 12 hours the surface charge goes away and you're left with what you should have on your batteries

Also, float chargers like the DPI popular here, hold them at 52-53 volts commonly. That may be where you got the 53v from.

They say batteries will lose 1% state of charge every day left sitting. I.e. If you don't have a maintainer charger. That's why having a charger that float charges or recycles every 2-4 weeks like a dpi charger is beneficial especially over the winter or in your off season. If yours doesn't recycle every couple weeks of non use unplug wait a few min and plug back in. Never let your batteries get below 70% if at all possible cause that's what causes damage. So at least recharge every 28-30 days if at all possible or even more frequent if you have older batteries.
