Default 1997 ezgo txt golf cart

Have 1997 ezgo golf cart and solenoid will not engage checked 1206sx controller and all pins voltage is correct except no voltage on pin 2 and no voltage on pin 1 when accelerator pressed

Pin 1&2 are the throttle signal (out and back in) without about 0.5v to 1.7v signal here the controller is not being told to let any current pass.
If the control has failed in this circuit it must be replaced. Use the new SR control from Alltrax and HD solenoid.

This being true.....to the OP.....disconnect the two wires and ensure continuity of those wires. ALSO, another known issue with the signal from the foot switch to the controller is the molex connector between the switch and the controller. check them out and you may find your problem, best part is it will only cost you some time to troubleshoot the issue and not a penny.

Thank you for info. Popped cover off controller and found diode floating around in there. Will take it to local electronic repair shop to see if they can fix it.
