Default Help- jakes 6" lift install

What length shackle do i use in the rear leaf spring. I had 5" hole to hole center shackles and they look like they are to long and are flattening out the leaf spring and rolling the axle backwards Do i need shorter ones ????

Pushing the rear of the spring down and rolling the axle backwards is fine. Because of this, the front spring hanger is pushed upwards. That is how the lift is provided from a longer shackle.

Thanks for the info broFrom what my CC dealer is telling me, is that my 5" hole centers/ long rear shackles came stock that way and my new lift kit with them is fine. I'm curious as to other CC DS carts of the same year or abouts and how long they're shackles are. ,,,anyone else got a 6" JAKES LIFT and how long are your rear shackles. Just curious friends as i am seeing anything from 2" to 6" holes center to center length shackles. Here are pics of my shackles. Thanks

The shackles on your car appear to be the factory ones.
