780 drive clutch for Big Block Carts
Briggs and Honda V-twin 780 Drive ClutchComet 780 Clone for vtwin golf cart swaps. These 780 series drive clutches come with a 1 inch bore and 1/4 inch keyway. Tuning kits for these clutches are also available. I am not sure of the availabilty of the 780 drive from our sponsors. (not sure who has them yet) I don't think this company would not sell them if they they thought they were junk. Also helped spec them. The 780 Drive uses a standard 1-3/16 inch wide symmetrical CVT belt. I say clone because they said, and I quote, "The 780 drive is no longer manufactured in the U.S"......... |

Re: 780 drive clutch for Big Block Carts
I'm officially confused.....
Tom only has 2 more 780's left for the CC BB conversion kits. No more until a replacement clutch is found. Yet, this clutch is touted as a 780 replacement. Is it larger than the 780? |

Perhaps the pipeline will fill soon for this new clutch! I can only hope so.

Re: 780 drive clutch for Big Block Carts
The one I posted is not on CPP's site. The one pictured on CPP's site is NOT the 780, it is the CVTech. A 780 comet or 780 comet clone is the only one that will fit the club cars without a bunch of modifications..
