Default 2015 pds to ac conversion. Pros and cons!? Possible 72 volt

Has anyone done this? I'm thinking about buying the Navitas 5kw ac engine/600 amp controller conversion kit for my 2015 ezgo pds. Flat ground and just want speed. Might upgrade it to 72 volts.
