Default Motor connection question, 1984 Club Car

I'm a newbie here, but I have searched the web and this forum
and can't find the info I need. I cannot figure out which connections
on the motor are A1, A2, S1, and S2. I can't see markings on the motor
either. Please help! I am installing a new electronic controller
(Alltrax 4844 with an Albright SW180 solenoid, and PB-6 pot).
Attached is a picture of the motor , it is a Baldor 36v, 2 HP, Spec.: 45-29w02,
and frame 6607 4527D.

if you look at a diagram in the stickies follow the cable color of cables and read what stud they are hooked to and then on yours follow the color and it should be the same.....like in the stickies if red is going to s-1 and white to a-1 then yours should be the same as per cable....follow me?? ..............................

There must be some sort of "standard" for the motor connections, ie, f/r switch always goes to same motor connections, whether it is A1 or S1, etc . . . battery terminal always goes to same motor connection, etc . . . ??

Most all of these motors have the terminal markings stamped into the housing. They can be hard to find on dirty old motors....

I found this picture in a Club Car user manual. This seems to have the answer, if I can trust it.
Red: S1
White:A2
Black: S2
Black: A1
Does that make sense?
