Default Marathon rear end locked up after lift

I recently built a 10" lift for my 87 gasser and the pinion bearing went out within 3 hours riding time. The rear has a severe angle in the swing arm. I was wondering if the steep angle is causing the front bearing to not get enough lubrication?? If that is the case Can I add more than the recommended oil to make the gears sling more oil?

Just guessing cause I have no idea how the lift is done but I would have to say that you need to drop the front of the engine cradle. The ring gear is probably still in oil, it's just not oiling the bearing at that angle due to gravity.

I welded a 10" 2 1/2" ID pipe to the rearend on an angle to make the spring perches align with each other. and used a pipe that would fit inside the coil spring for the spring keeper.

Yes, thats what i'd do. but they need to be braced/fixed to the front so they cant move. This is similar to what needs to be done on the 4 strokes with big lifts cause of the engine oil can't reach the pickup.
