Motor Locked up - 88 Club Car
Picked up an 88 Club Car with a locked up motor today but I'm not sure what size motor is in it. The serial # on the motor is FZ340DLS03
Can anyone shed some light on what size motor this is so I can begin to search for parts? Am I better off to rebuild or replace? I'm new to the gassers and don't have the budget to talk to the big block guys....yet!  Thanks in advance! |

For the FZ340 (341) flathead, KF82 seems to be the most common, or familiar name for that engine,
It's to my understanding that there are still rebuild kits out there for them, however, some "individual" parts may be hard to find. Check with some of BGW's fine sponsors for kits and parts!  |

those old flatheads are bullet proof but when you do get one thats bad they are quite easy to rebuild and if you can find the rebuild kit your way ahead of the game.......buy yourself a service manual for your cart and it walks you step by step on your rebuild you,ll be done in 5 hours or so if you take your time........good luck and have fun..................................
