1986 club car stall
my 1986 kf82 club car starts to spit and sputter after about a half hour of driving. it also misses when i hit a bump in the road no matter how long i have been driving. i think the engine is getting a little warmer than it should. any help is greatly appreciated.

cutting out while driving usually indicates a loose wire some where. Might be the whole problem might not. On my G2 it cut out when it revved up. Turned out the ground on the coil had come close and idling it was resting up against the post but rev it up and it moved away and died till it rocked back and made a connection.

A fix it man at a local shop told me to put a wire from the negative terminal on the battery to the engine. If it cures the problem you have a ground problem. My thoughts were, if it cures the problem, you don't have a problem. Ha!
