18hp B&S - Hesitation sputtering mid throttle

I have a B&S V Twin 18hp. Been installed for a few years and I'm getting a slight hesitation and sputtering while cart is moving at low to mid throttle. If you floor it, it comes out of it and runs fine.

I have a electronic fuel pump (not stock which comes from the tank in which I have an inline fuel filter. After fuel pump, I have a Y adapter, one goes to carb and one is a return line to tank. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Now i'm going to start with fuel filter but I'm not sure that's it as it runs fine at full throttle. Any help or advise is appreciated.

-I have a high rev kit and advanced timing key.
