I would say no. It is a big engine. On my G2 I have a 6" lift and had to drop the swing arm.

I just bought one today for my Yamaha G9. It is bigger than I thought it would be. Good thing iv already dropped my cradle to fit my 25" tires.

The airbox is on top of most v twins if you can put a remote one on somehow it helps. But still harder in a non lifted cart. The clone lays way over and nothing is on top of it, that is why the Vegas kits fit a lot of stock carts with no lift and just bolt in. Still if you can fabricate you can do it one way or another, its just harder and takes longer. I welded up the mounts for the clones I put in and dropped the front down to level them in lifted G9s. Somehow that was the easy part just cut some bars and a tube and clamp it up in the cart, hit it with the MIG. The exhaust, cables, and remote airbox took all the time.

It would not fit into my DS without building a cradle and lifting the cart. I'm currently converting my DS from electric to the 670 and got rid of the leaf springs so it made it easy to build the cradle using coil over shocks and control arms.

Is your DS a gas cart now? You will also have to plan which direction the Predator will be mounted since it is a counter clockwise rotating motor. DS carts came with both CW and CCW motors depending on the year you have.

Well really don't want to lift it.I appreciate the info.Guess it will be a VC 460,was looking for the torque instead of hp.

The VC460 still has much more torque than stock engines. You might want to see when they release that new engine they are talking about, not sure what it is but appears to be larger than the 460 (at Vegas) and it might have more torque than the 460. Doubtful it will be as fast the 460 can rev really well. I don't know if it will be taller than the 460, nobody has seen it yet far as I know.

I don't know, Aaron from Vegas carts was on here and said it would be posted on their FB page very soon.

I have a stock 420 clone and a built 420 clone with Vegas rod/cam/cut and ported head, 1.3 roller rockers, and more. It should be running much like a vc460 it has about the same parts. Anyway the stock 420 has great torque it will trash a stock G9 like nothing. It only goes 2mph faster than stock both with no governors on 22 tires, it hits 31 on gps. That could be fixed easily but family says it works just fine lol. With two guys on it will pull the front tires off the ground climbing out of ditches for example. Bigger is always nicer, just saying a plain 420 has near twice the power of a stock G9. If this new vegas engine has more that would be sweet. But I have no idea if it is low as the clone single is, its a mystery engine lol.
