Take about $2500 and blow it on parts...…….

In all seriousness though, there should be a sticky on hop ups for making a golf cart faster. A thread that starts with basics IE- wheel bearings, air pressure in tires and so on.... then gets more and more technical until it is talking about flux capacitors and space time continuum. Listing a rule of thumb expectation for each modification. Adding in a list of Variables that can be counter productive to the performance of the golf cart, IE- big tires, bottle necking power etc.. etc...

Obviously Series drive, right? Shift lever down by the seat? Yeah
Series carts make more torque than speed. But they can make 20 mph. Depending upon your application, you have options.
IS this cart to be used on the street or on dirt trails and the street. Or on the street but around the yard and once a year entered in the local parade

Each one of these scenarios require a different approach. One thing they all have in common is 48 volts. If your going to get close to 48v in a series cart it needs to be running on 48 volts.
