Question What gauge wire ?

I was going to make a jumper wire from the small post with yellow wire on my solenoid to negative post on #6 battery to see if OBC is bad.
Is it Ok to use same gauge wire as yello or should I use larger ?
Thanks........

18 gauge will be fine.. You're just handling the ground current for the solenoid coil.. The solenoid ground running thru the OBC is how it disables the cart if it senses something amiss..

A light wire will blister you faster than you can let go, like Shadowman says make up a few.
