Default Axle parts

I have a 1-1/2" keyed axle out of a old sprint car only problem is it needs a little love. It needs new bearings in the birdcages and a new brake disc... Does anyone know where I can get parts for this axle?

Get rid of the birdcages and use Pillow block bearings, you can find a Motorcycle brake disc that will work. I have some keyed pinch bolt hubs but they are 1-3/8 you would have to bore them and broach the keyway deeper. Also have some 2 piece quick change sprockets, and a few other Mini Sprint parts.

I was going to do a 4 link with the bird cages but I guess I could do a swingarm with the pivot block... Just have to figure out my brakes because my caliper mounts on one of the birdcages

I would stick with the birdcages.any bearing place can get you the bearings.either measure them or find a number on them.

Is there a specific reason on why to stay with the birdcages?

If you are running it off road, the birdcages will take a lot more abuse than a pillow block.Pillow blocks don't handle shockloads and abuse as well. The birdcage will absorb the impact from bumps and side loading on the tires.
