How hot do Nissan cells get?
Tell me if I’m being stupid. Can I mount my Zeva bms right to the Nissan Leaf modules with some two sided tape? It would make for a super clean install, as it would fit under my aluminum trim panels when assembled.

Yes you can. I have no appreciable temperature rise with mine when either charging or discharging.

I suppose you could. But,, (always a "but") iffin it were me I'd double stick a piece of wood in between the batteries and the BMS.
Why? No reason really.....it would just give me warm fuzzies. |

Re: How hot do Nissan cells get?
The BMS gets hotter than the cells get. (when balancing) I would mount the BMS over the cells if you have room under the seat. Make a plate that goes across the top above the battery and mount the BMS on that.
