Anyone have issues pulling cart under garage door?
Any of you guys with the lifted carts to tall to pull under regular garage doors? Mine is not lifted extremly high and but it does have an african safari rack on top. I had to have the garage door opener pull the door up even with the top of the opening to get the cart in thru the door.
I still only have 3/4" clearance! I was just wondering if anyone with the skyjacked cart with the big tires have this problem? |

Mine with a 4 inch lift, 22 inch tires and the 80 inch top clear by just about the same. Had to set the opener to pull the door completely flat..

Re: Anyone have issues pulling cart under garage door?
Yes, but only because my garage is filled with a classic step side truck, a '69 corvette, a motorcycle, and all my tools As for my 4 wheel drive with 20 inch wheels (40 inch tires and 14 inch lift) only the hood will fit under the garage door (barely)
Nice safari rack btw Kelly |

Re: Anyone have issues pulling cart under garage door?
Yes, but I have a Jakes LT set at 8" and added another 2 1/2" lift mod of my own and 25" tires. I had to lower the roof in front, I think, 3". I have 1/2" clearance when the door is all the way up and flat.

I don't yet, but with the extremely ackward height of the cab on my Lil Duece, I will when I lift it. Here is a pic of it on jack stands that have it up only about 4" and you can see how close it is already to the garage door.

Hot rod...... wish my toy box was that full!
My chevy 4x4 with 20" wheels go under garage door with no problem. I got pretty large tires on it also. Well as big as I can go without a lift kit any way! |
