* IMPORTANT *
If ordering a new controller, ask for the correct field map for that special motor!

Individual motor settings for the controller.

EXAMPLE:

Alltrax XCT Field Map Settings
Alltrax XCT standard controller settings for 48 volt SePex carts:
*Under voltage cut off……38 volts
*Maximum armature amperage……500 (XCT500)
*Maximum regen……60
*Plug braking current……250
*Maximum rpm……6,500
*Turbo on or off……this is already set in the field map
*Street or Turf mode……street/performance, turf/golf
*Select field map

Field map is the software that controls the Field Current over the motor speed and current profile.

OK, New development. I tried to check to see if the motor was working. I connected the A1 to F2 and then A2 to F1. I put a jumper cable on A1 & A2 and connected it to a 12v battery. The wheels started spinning but they were spinning slowly. Is this an indication that the motor is bad? If that's the case, should I just get a motor before I purchase a Controller?

No, that is normal... operation voltage of the motor is usually higher. I'd start with the controller.

OK, I ordered the Alltrax Controller, an upgraded solenoid, and a new wire harness. I will post after I receive them and install them. Hopefully, I don't need a motor. Thank you all for your help.
