Default 2007 drive 48v throttle sensor

Has anyone been having problems with new throttle sensors? I have now ordered 3 sensors and all three get the same results. I'm bench testing them with a fluke meter from the orange and black wires and no change in resistance. Any suggestions?

What makes you suspect the throttle sensor? I've not seen a problem with them on my two YDRE's.

The cart came in as a no run cart, batteries are testing good (51.4v), 3amp fuse is good, rev buzzer works, motor brake engages when you roll it, solenoid tests fine, solenoid clicks when you go from run to tow, solenoid clicks when you hit accel pedal. Controller seems to be functioning correctly

Stop switch has also been tested and is working correctly.
Everything I look up leads me back to a bad throttle, but all seem to read the same. I also got them from 2 different vendors.
Thanks again for any help

I don't know how to diagnose anything with the stock Moric controller. I guess I would suspect the controller if three throttle sensors didn't fix it. Throttle signal off the sensor is 0 to 5V if you can get a meter on it.

Forgive the silly question, have you considered bad brushes on the motor?

I was going to mention brushes but he said that the cart resisted movement when pushed which indicates that the motor is alive. A Yamaha cart that old could need brushes for sure though. I bought my 2009 a year ago and it had a dead motor when I bought it. I knew that Hitachi motors suck but I replaced the brushes and drove it until I got my D&D replacement motor.

When my cart was having issues with moving, it would resist when pushing as well. Took the motor apart and the brushes were definitely bad. Ended up getting a new motor from Don Plowman. No other parts were replaced except for batteries.

I was going to try and get a manual to trace wire and check the voltage but the factor manual brakes down that info.
