Thanks for the detailed post!

I also envy the cleanliness of that engine bay!

Didnt go as good as I thought.... Cart starts and idles fine... Idles perfect. will run for hours at idle.. Adjusted governor.. went to go for a ride,
But when I go to give it some throttle it does not rev up past idle.. I can floor the pedal and does not go above idle at all... Whats going on here?? Going through some things trying to figure this out... When I hit the gas the carb throttle is moving...all new cables.. I am wondering if it has anything to do with the rev limiter as this new motor was manufactured in 2013 the rev limiter came off my old motor which was a 98..

I am going to start another thread for this issue...

Thanks,

Ant....

The engine isn't running. It's simply turning over with the starter. If you'll check the spark plug with a spark tester you'll probably see that it isn't firing.

2013 was around the time they introduced the 50 state engine that doesn't use a rev limiter. It has a rev limiter built into the ignition coil. Take the valve cover off and send me a picture of the valves. If they're adjustable, it's a 50 state engine. If they're non adjustable, it's a hydraulic lifter engine and can use a rev limiter. Irrelevant to your issue I know, but it's a form of identification.

As soon as I removed the rev limiter she started right up... Running good now...
Haven't had a chance to really test her good yet cause its been raining here...

Thanks buddy, Its like I got a new cart.... Can't believe the difference.. Much better then expected... Got to adjust governor little tighter, Wanna set it for 19Mph at like 14 now.... Have a few other kinks to work out with the cart but it's getting there...

Thanks again,

Ant...

Not hard to do at all...

I have to pull mine apart again tho... I need to replace my syncros... If you have it apart I suggest changing syncros... My forward is fine but still having problems with reverse... It will not fully come out of reverse due to not changing syncros... I tried to save a couple bucks cause they didnt really look that bad but they need changing... I will pull it apart again maybe next weekend...

Thanks,

Ant...
