Default Mo-Door Garage Door Opener

Just wanted to share install pictures of the garage door opener installed.

I bought a NO (normally open) momentarily push button switch in red, soldered it to the wires after cutting off the ugly switch it came with, and made a clean install.

Pics attached.

Those Mo switches are expensive. I might try this.

I'm just trying to help the economy.

I remember when the guy first started some years back. I was a supporter then too.

I used a horn button mounted next to the real horn button. As I get close to the house I just hit the button, and as we come around the corner the garage door is going up.

The strange thing is that nobody ever notices. I carry different people on the cart, and nobody ever asks "hey how did you get the door to come up?"
