2018 Ezgo L6 Accelerator Cable needs replaced
Hi,
My accelerator cable is loose and you can't adjust it anymore where the governor adjustment rod is. Has anyone replaced the cable on one of these yet? It doesn't look like you can get to the cable at the gas pedal from the bottom of the cart. The only video I found about adjusting the cable shows that you take 3 bolts off of each side, then lift the floor mat off but it isn't a 2018 cart and I've taken the 3 bolts off of each side but the floor mat won't come off over the brake pedal and before I cut it I want to make sure I'm doing it right. Anyone have any experience. Thanks! |

Re: 2018 Ezgo L6 Accelerator Cable needs replaced
Well, I decided it had to be under the floor mat so I made one cut on the floor mat above the brake pedal and the mat came over both pedals and the access door was there. I added a couple of pictures. So there are 4 bolts/nuts on each side that need to come out to swing the plate out that holds the floor mat in. Then one cut on floor mat above the brake pedal, pull it all back and then 2 screws to access where the accelerator cable connects to the gas pedal. Hopefully this helps someone in the future.
