Painting Black Plastics on a Precedent

I used the heat gun on the step pads on my truck over 2 years ago and still nice and black. I use no product at all on the step pads as (unlike most truck owners) I actually USE the step pads getting in and out of truck. Not that I need to, I'm 6'2" and it's not a lifted truck, but it does save the cushion on the seat!
So the step pads have had no product on them, and two years later are still nice and black.

This product can be used on all black parts of the cart including the floor mats and the gas & brake pedal. It is not slippery and lasts 8-12 mo on first application and reapply about once a year after that. Applies with a foam applicator, supplied with the product. Goes a long way. Here is before and after, one coat applied. 5 min to do what you see here.
