I used the heat gun on the step pads on my truck over 2 years ago and still nice and black. I use no product at all on the step pads as (unlike most truck owners) I actually USE the step pads getting in and out of truck. Not that I need to, I'm 6'2" and it's not a lifted truck, but it does save the cushion on the seat!
So the step pads have had no product on them, and two years later are still nice and black. |
