Radio static.
I have a modded/lifted "87" Marathon and have been running LED head and tail lights with no problems with my stereo. The lights and stereo are powered by a seperate 12 volt deep cycle. This weekend I decided to hook up the yellow 12 volt constant memory wire on the head unit so I could retain my preset stations. Everything worked great until the night ride. As soon as I flipped on the LED head lights I got constant static coming out of my speakers :( what's up with that ???? Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: Radio static.
Never heard of that, but it is obviously from the led power regulator in the light bar. Try a noise reducer for car radios?

Re: Radio static.
Yeah I was going to check with a local stereo shop for some type of noise reducer. I don't have a light bar these are individual three inch round lights with like 15 LED's. The tail lights have around 5 LED's.
