Multimeter help
I know I need to read the manual, but worked today and started the wife's garden and rode the family around on the cart some. Started teaching a 7 and 5 yr old girls how to drive while the 14 month boy was trying to take over and grab the wheel while mama was holding him. So I was a little busy. Ha Ha. If anyone can spare me for not reading the manual yet or not just knowing how to use one, tell me how I need to set this thing up to read the whole pack. I think I got it for reading one batt. Set it to 6V and hook the leads up to pos/neg accordingly. Forget how I had the leads hooked to the multimeter though. Thank you for any help.

Re: Multimeter help
black center red right . The only time you would put the red in the left hole labled DC 10A is if you were to be doing a cureent draw test and put the meter inline on a positive or negetive lead.

Re: Multimeter help
Black is ground and Center plug, Red is Positive and to the right. Set meter on DC, first position from OFF turning dial to right. Tough to read on bottom but looks like it's auto volts up to 400 volts. I still would read the manual

Re: Multimeter help
Thank you so much guys. Had it charging for about 4 hours and just went out and took it off the charger and checked the voltage. Each battery was reading about 6.8V and the pack was at 41.5. Seems awful high to me. Was it because I hadn't given it time to settle? Powerwise was a little banged up looking so took it in yesterday to get checked out since I just bought the cart so if they knew what they were doing the charger is good. Taking the cart in for a PMCS on Monday and then I'm going to pull the batteries out and clean everything up and put some rustolieum in there. Again thank you guys. Need another beer now...
