Default How fast will she go....

Ok guys the setup I am running now is a 2003 limo cart with 400amp controller HT 5.5 with 8.1 gears, stock 18" tires and I am right at 30-32mph on flat.

I am going to upgrade to ht raptor 9.0HP@48V 6100rpms with a GE700 amp progamable controller, 6.1 gears and 215/35/12 tires

and of coruse I am running a HD F&R with all 4 Gauge wire

anyone know what kind of speed I sould be looking at when finished ?
Thanks

http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/speed-calculator.php Shows 105.9 MPH but you will never get there. You don't have enough power. Try doubling or possibly trippling your power output.

Good Luck!

No its MPH. KPH is 170.4

6100 RPM
6:1 gearing
35" tire would come out to 105 MPH. Its just an estimate. It doesn't mean you have the power to get there. It doesn't take in the other factors.

Ok, Now I feel like a dumbass. Tires sizes confuse me to no end. What is the actual diameter of this tire? I know the wheel diameter is 12".

That sounds more resonable. Sorry for the incorrect post. Completely obtainable but still more power is needed.

215/35/12

215 is the tire width in mm
35 is the aspect ratio %
12 is wheel diameter in inches

to find overall diameter

(width*aspect ratio) * 2 + wheel dia.
215*.35 = 75.25mm
75.25mm * 2 = 150.5mm
150.5 / 25.4 = 5.925" (25.4mm = 1 inch)
5.925" + 12" wheel diameter =
17.925" overall diameter

Everyone confused like me now??
