My charger stopped working I checked it out and found there was no low voltage to the relay, orange and brown wires have no power when I jump out the relay the charger works. could it be one of the boards? any ideas. Thanks Arizona Bob

Re: 36 volt powerwise charger
yes it could be circuit breaker, relay, board, doiodes......hard to tell without the manual to start testing the componants otherwise were just throwing parts into it till we get lucky.......................do you have a manual? if so everything for charger will be there.............testing in order and diagnosing..................

Re: 36 volt powerwise charger
Most of the time if you jump the relay and it comes on it's the relay.Black lines are the two wires you need to jump.

Re: 36 volt powerwise charger
Tom I jumped out relay it works installed a new relay and it works only if you jump out the new relay. I have no power to the orange and brown wires that power the relay coil. I'm going to check farther now that you provided a wiring diagram. Thanks a lot. Bob

Re: 36 volt powerwise charger
If it is not the board it is will be the diodes mounted to the heat sink board and or the the fuse. TYpically if the diodes go bad it will take out the fuse.

Re: 36 volt powerwise charger
I know my problem is with the black relay mounted on the board. I have to take the two wires off the relay and tape them together and my charger will work even though I know it is not safe. So my question is this. Can I just replace the relay on the board? If so where can I buy just the relay?
