crossed wires
i have a 1996 ezgo txt which was running great until i accidentally touched the positive and negative and heard a "click" like a breaker tripped. I have new batteries which are fully charged. When i press the eccelerator i do not hear the "click" you normally hear so i replaced the solenoid and have 38 volts on both sides so that's not the problem. I'm not sure what to check next, any help would be appreciated. Dan

Re: crossed wires
Welcome to BGW!
Do you have a Run/Tow switch on you controller cover? If so, You've got a DCS cart (IE: 1996 TXT DCS) and you might have blown the controller. Look at the attached chart and et us know if it is a DCS or Series cart and we'll go from there with what to check. |
