Thanks. Your advice has been very helpfull.

BTW I'm very happy with my 6310 after its first long trip.

I'm taking delivery on this exact trailer this weekend. Do you tote a spare wheel in the tow vehicle?

Aluma makes a couple of different spare tire mounts for their trailers. I bring a can of Fix-A-Flat and cross my fingers...but I may add this mount in the future.

Here is another option that I looked at, it was on sale locally last week for $899.

https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/pr...r?cm_vc=-10005

But I decided to just put some work into my old tilting trailer and keep it for a while.

I am going to get a price for sand blasting and powder coating the sides, the front and the tailgate.

$899 is a good price for that. How do you keep your cart from shifting back and forth when strapped like that? Chocks?

I added tie-downs in front.

For those of you with Aluma trailers I have two questions.

1. How have they held up? I have heard stories of weak welds.
2. Did you get the heavy duty version to get the taller wheels or are you satisfied with the smaller wheels?
