Jakes Z lift or Double a arm?
Have a 07 DS, want to put a mild lift so I can run 20 inch tires. I know there is a big difference in price, but what is everyone's thoughts on the different types of lift? I would like to keep a comfortable ride, and I know the Z lift would still be stock. I just am not to crazy about cutting the frame. Would the double a arm still be a good ride, or are there other problems with this lift. Only looking at something like about 4" of lift. Any other ideas?

Re: Jakes Z Lift or Double A arm?
I would go with a spindle lift before I even considered a Z lift. But if I was looking for the best ride I would go with the Double A arm lift. Just my opinion.

I run a double A-arm. Rides nice. Although I do run 22" tires on 8" wheels, so I have lots of sidewall cushion.

Re: Jakes Z Lift or Double A arm?
I put the Jakes double A arm kit on and my cart runs much smoother than stock.

Re: Jakes Z lift or Double a arm?
We commonly do 3" spindle lifts (no cutting, stock suspension travel and geometry) and fit up to 22" tires. It's also generally cheaper than the double A arm lifts to buy the kit. Myself I've never liked the steering "feel" of most of the A arm lifts I've come across. I know feel is very subjective and other's opinions may differ.

Re: Jakes Z Lift or Double A arm?
I installed a jakes long travel lift on my 1997 ezgo and love it. It seems to be well made, installed very easily and is very adjustable for height and ride quality.
