2005 club Car Pres no reverse

cart arrived with forward and reverse working fine. prepped cart for rear shock replacement. put towed run switch in towed position.

after changing the shocks put towed sw in run position. turned key on put switch in reverse. pressed accelerator to back up. cart did not move. put sw in forward cart moved. you can hear solenoid click. could to be a bad forward reverse sw be bad.

Check your F1 / F2 wires from controller to motor. Something could have worked loose while changing shocks.

Mine does that sometimes after having the run switch off. The manual says to wait 10 seconds after switching run/tow to run.

If you tried to go in reverse too soon and haven't tried again, that may be the reason

You should have disconnected the battery. Your wrench must have made contact with the motor terminals while changing the shocks. Do you remember making any sparks? If you do you need a new controller.

I completed an Ohms check per club car precedent IQ 150A Install sheet dated 02/26/2020.
checking motor windings all the steps checked good except the last step. With motor disconnected measure F1 to motor case. This must be greater than 5mohms. may display nothing. I used a Southwire 21010N meter. what does mean i’d F1 does not have greater than 5M ohms.

please disregard previous post. the controller is not providing power to the reverse F1Orange wire. So I have a bad controller. Thanks for all your help

installed new controller .. Cart moves forward and reverse.
