Default What is this sound?? HELP!!

Pressed the pedal while on an incline, and BRRRRRRRRR. Let go and pressed it again.. BrRrRRRRR. This isn't good. Something has broken loose and is slipping somewhere. Please help me figure out what to replace. The batteries aren't even broken in fully yet. The cart ATTEMPTS to move forward, but then starts slipping. HELP!!

Couldn't figure out how to embed it, although I tried it did not work. Here is a direct link to the video on youtube.

I can probably google ezgo TXT hub, but if it's not too much trouble could someone show me a link of what I am looking for so I can verify that I purchase the right part(s).

Should the rear hubs be changed out in pairs? I'm gonna go look for videos and other posts about EZGO TXT Rear hubs in the meantime. ..

**EDIT** I didn't see ANY online videos on txt rear hubs.. how they go on, how they come off, or how to change them out.

100% stripped brake drum/hub. Been through quite a few of them. It's a known EZ-Go weakness. High torque loads strip the splines in the brake drums. I used to go through one a year, hopefully my rear disc brake conversion has solved that issue.

I think it has G, the Brake kit uses the same HD hub as the repair kit

Gorno, you are all over the place man. In between my last post I did an internet search and found you commented on this issue in 2009, on another forum. Thought it was interesting and helpful although I didn't see a link to the mentioned 'pictures'. When I saw your handle, I instantly thought "Stay thirsty my friends" haha...

Also, my multiple hub failures were all accompanied by some pre-failure warning sounds. I can now state without question that each failure was preceded by sharp cracks or pops from the rear of the cart when transitioning direction. What I was hearing were the first splines cracking off the hubs. Once you start hearing it, it's only a matter of a short time before you will be stranded.
