My Club Car cart project
This is my first cart project ever. I could not have done with out the information on this site.
This is a 89 CC gasser. It was obviously used as a hunting rig, but in the end it was used in a tire shop until they abandoned it in a corner. Many surprises were found, but amazingly the motor ran fine just needed a fuel pump and carb cleaning. new plug and fluids went in too. I fixed lots of broken welds due to a crash and flat out abuse. I did all the tig work and repairs. It has a new replacement body, wheels and tires and just about everything else... last night on it maiden voyage, the motor almost fell out as the motor mount bolts were rusted all the way thru. Today it runs much better with the motor properly attached and lined up. I also have the seat backs to install and the matching black bubble top. I also have a late model plastic bumper to install. Next I hope to find a matching backseat. I still have some other issues that I will hopefully tackle with your help. Thanks again for the great info ! |

**** !!!!
Nice work on the cart. That black paint is ridiculously good looking on that cart. You should be very proud of yourself and your work. I am glad you saved the engine too. Leave no man behind. hahaha. Cheers Galloway |

Thanks guys.
Galloway, On keeping the engine...Im a little disapointed so far on the power. Im fully aware that these are the most underpowered models out there, but i have to check a few things. |
