rear flip seat
When I purchased my cart, it had all the rails, and platform attached to it, the person just bolted a piece of wood on the back to use it like a truck bed. Anyway I would like to add the rear flip down seat but see no reason to purchase the entire kit since I have everything except the seat. Is it anyway to build this myself or does anyone know where I can buy just the seat and the board that flips. Thanks

Re: rear flip seat
Any luck on that flip seat?
I am planning on building my own flip seat (sometime in the near future). I don't know about buying a seat that already has a hinge. You can buy just a seat or your can build your own. I have a limo cart and build my seats and seat backs from scratch. It wasn't that hard. I found some "seat foam" on ebay and glued it to some plywood. I then bought marine-grade vinyl to cover it (staple it down). The hardest part is trying to wrap the vinyl just right (eliminating as many wrinkles, creases, etc). I personally haven't built the flip portion yet but I'll keep ya posted. |
