The Cart Doctor posted this today (4/1/09) on BU"s Forum...
We are working hard to get things put together and real soon. I can tell you we are having 6 classes and one will be an Outlaw class with "you build it to the extreme". It does have to have the start life of a golf car other than that let it fly! I am adding a sled pull and a figure 8 track. I am going to redo the hill climb and make the mud pit much larger. Hope this wets your appetite a little and we will be more specific on our Bonanza site.

The only change they need to Bill's Hill is to make the backside a bit easier to negotiate. It was soooooooo steep all i could do was lock the brakes and steer my way down.

Oh, and keep Bill off it too.

When and where do you guys get together in ky and ga and can you tell me about the bonanza I live in louisville,ky a would like to attend some of the events this summer with my cart any INFO would help Thanks Bill.

The Buggies Bonanza is July 17th and 18th. It is held in London, KY at the London Dragway. It is held by Buggies Unlimited, their site has more info and details. We went last year and had a blast. We just booked our room for this year and are going back. They had events such as a Show-N-Shine, a Hill Climb (don't know if that will ever happen again), a Mud Race, a Cross Country Race, and the 1/8 mile drag races. We met some of the best people from ALL OVER the US. The events all happened on Saturday and Friday was set up and practice.

As for Georgia, we go up to the Douglas Motorsports Park and drag race there, whenever they will have us. The next cart race is May 2nd. They have a website with details too.

In Florida things are really catching on with the carts and we are able to attend an event almost every weekend....sand drags, sled pulls, mud runs, and drag races. It is surely an up and coming sport.
