Default Winter Storage

I am storing a 36 volt EZ-GO series cart for the first time this winter. I want to put the charger on a timer to kick on every once and a while. Just a question on the type of timer to use. I have looked at a couple of heavy-duty ones and they seem to be the way to go. I think that with those I would have to set it to charge once a day. Thanks for the response.

Any reason you can't unhook the cables? The cells should hold a charge.

If the charger is a Powerwise it will NOT restart without removing/inserting the charge handle into the cart. A timer won't help you.

It is a Powerwise, thanks. I think that I might just put it in my garage so I can charge it now and then. This will give me opportunity to work on it as well. Thanks for the response.

Why not remove battery cables between batteries to create 3 - 12volt sections. Buy 3 - 1.5 volt trickle chargers and install at each 12 volt interval.
The chargers wouldn't cost but about $15.00 each, but would save the batteries by constantly maintaining, which is a much larger investment.
