Well, I made it upstate without any issues, except for the insane amount of bugs on my light bar and windshield. One thing I did realize. the brakes on this cart suck. I really need to adjust them better. I didn't want to make them too tight to where there would be too much drag, but I'll have to find a happy medium. The cart performed really well, but for some reason, when traveling up hill, it was only showing 93% throttle, but down hill readily showed 100%. I have two monitor files which I will upload here and see what anyone can tell me. It's going to suck not having the cart home to tinker with, but I guess I'll have more time to do other things. Heading back up for a long memorial day weekend, so I'll adjust the brakes and add a temperature gauge for the motor.

Which temperature gauge are you going to use?

yurtle, I see in your signature you have a Alltrax EX RAY. Beyond motor temperature, what else does your Alltrax EX RAY give you in terms of valuable information?

Admittedly I have not done extensive searches on it, but seems information is not easily found. Looks like installation could be a bit of an adventure. How do you like it, would you get it again?

It's noting fancy, just something so I can kinda keep an eye on things.

I like it. Does a lot. Speedo, odo, time, volts, ambient and motor temp, user settable warning and danger LEDs for volts, temp, etc.

That's awesome, but a little too expensive for me.

I paid $185 around 11/2011. I see similar prices, but I also see some in the $250 range???
