Default 2002 CC Tire Upgrade - Will this size fit?

18x9.50-8 ATV???

The current tire on my cart is 18x8.50-8.

Will the tire [in bold] fit on the existing wheel?

Looking for confirmation or condemnation...

If it is a standard rim then it should be fine, it will just be a little wider. I fit 18x9.50-8 tyres to most brands of buggy rim with no issues.

Will it fit? Yes no problem.

But keep the load rating in mind. That size atv tire is usually meant for little kids 4wheelers so they’re not rated for very much weight. A golf cart weighs a LOT more than a little 200lb ATV. Especially if you have a dump bed or sprayer or something on it and Load it up. Probably blow the tire out if it’s not strong enough to bear the weight.

Thank you for the replies. Usage will occasionally be a 25 gallon sprayer with a single operator. Mostly though, the cart is used for transporting my tired and worn out knees to and from hunting stands and to recover downed deer in season (if I ever get one) and hogs (24/7 - lots of trigger time in hogs and the Cajun spiced sausage is outstanding!).

Cajun spiced sausage sounds delicious right now!

Tires went on easy, no interferences, ride "bumpy" but no worse than the hog uprooted ground, look great, and I'll post some pictures when I stop hunting and come out of the woods again, in about two weeks.
