Default Predator 670 Starter

has anyone upgraded their starters for the 670? mine sorta went for a swim awhile back and now its getting me non-stop issues when we are out. I found a few online but its a limited market. I really don't feel like taking out the motor to warranty it out for the starter plus id have to spend another $250, I'll bite the bullet on the starter.

any ideas? thanks

Shepard had posted something on the other clone starters that the solenoid was actually bad and not the starter. He used some other solenoid to correct the issue. Maybe he or someone with more electrical knowledge will have the answer.

I need to pull it out and clean the Bendix to see how bad it is but not sure if its going to help or not. I'd like to just change it out once and be done with it .

You might want to email performance 670 and see if they know something as they build high compression race engines based on the 670 predator.

yeah I might do that, I dont mind spending a little money as long as its quality, my factory one only has maybe 30 hours on it but its because the wife took the cart swimming up to the header
