Default Sourcing Briggs vanguard parts

Stupid question here but this is the first engine I’m attempting to build and need to find the correct parts.

On my motor it says model 356477 type 0299-F1 Code 10101411

Looking for exhaust valves and intake valves and bearings so when I google to find the correct parts what number do I use ?

I would also recommend getting the $30 Briggs service manual for the engine group you are working on. Invaluable.....

The Briggs Vanguard Vtwin manual is #272144, available at most dealers and on Amazon and Ebay.

You can't go wrong by ordering the manual, my favorite thing about owning the manual, is it has everything you need to do maintenance, such as torque specifications, fluid amount
That info is priceless, now you don't have to ask people what the torque specifications are for your crankcase cover, I will say this the information that you're looking for is scattered all over that manual, I first started writing down all of the torque values in the back of my manual, then I got this great idea, I'll just write all the information on my garage door LOL, that way all I got to do is look on the garage door and there's my answers......
I had to add a new one I just purchased a 670 recently, and there's not even a manual to purchase for it, so I started writing on the garage wall for it to LOL

if you have any problems, this is the thread to post your questions at.
Pictures are good, it helps us help you out, most likely somebody will have there own picture to share as well, this is how stuff gets done. It takes the anxiety away from trying to figure stuff out, it's nice when a member has been where you're at, it helps take the struggle away!!
taking pictures with an explanation really helps, who knows some sorry sap may even gain some vital information from the things you posted in your thread.

Kind of like a pass it forward thing, just with using threads
