So how many cells would be needed for a 1998 Club Car DS 48V? Would want at least 100AH as I’m on a 6” lift & 23” tires and it is strictly an off road cart. I currently have an old school 700A Logisystems controller, 10HP D&D torque motor and HD solenoid + F/R switch. Cables are all 1AWG.

I keep hearing that a 14 pack is preferable?

7 modules will give 65Ah, 14 will give 130Ah. These are new module figures so when buying used expect 80% remaining capacity. So 14 cells will give you around 100Ah.
