No grease, either. Use the spray battery cable protector.
Make sure you have the correct type and size bolts.
Be sure battery cable is the first thing placed on the battery stud, then any smaller wires go on top. See my old thread.

Battery cable torque is 110 inch-lb. I bought a Tekton (model 24320) in-lb torque wrench on Amazon.

EDIT: If you need new cables or motor wires call ScottyB or David at Revolutions. They have the "real" cables you need. Cheaper cables won't do.
Thanks for the info. I’ll check out your old thread.

I’m thinking to replace the entire set of cables with 4g quality Revolutions, cheap insurance.

EDIT: *&$&*!! I got under the cart and found a “repair” to one of the cables. As if it was cut and spliced back together. This is definitely the place to start.

It must be an upgrade since the cart is a model year 2006, and it is adjustable, I’m not going there either.
You may have to "go there." It might be your entire problem.

You can easily make your own cables if you want to spend the time. 2 awg is overkill, but there's no negative to using them.

Oh, a GE Series controller. I was reading GE as General Electric Company. My blonde hair kicked in. So sorry.

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger CC. I've always thought that's what it meant too.

If not, I need to go with you to the beauty parlor and have my blond hair dyed too.

I really do need to do that; still missing all of the speed and trying to figure out why!

Below is a close up of the repair I was talking about. It appears to be two cables coming off the positive which have ring terminals. It feels like there is a bolt connecting the two, wrapped in white plastic tape (not electrical tape).

Could this “repair” be the source of the noise? Does it provide higher resistance that under a load triggers the sound?
