Good point Fairtax4me, I was a little too optimistic that 90AH would be enough for the Allied batteries but the parallel strings can cause a rolling/cascading failure since they will likely be carrying different loads during high demand.

TJsCustomCarts, did You already try driving with a Voltmeter connected to the pack (not the programmer as that only reads the voltage after the Solenoid)?

No I Have not just with the programmer. I was going to try some different things today to see if I can narrow it down,
I may even swap regular Trojans back into it see if it still happens.
I have contacted the Allied battery Rep to see if they have any experience with this as well.
I was also thinking of hooking them to a discharge machine.

so after all the testing, come to the conclusion the whole time it was the Lithium batteries.
I took them all out so they were isolated and tested them one battery was at 18v, so the one battery for some reason never got charged back up upon charging the cart.
As soon as I swapped back to Regular batts the cart ran fine, a lot less pep but no drop out.
I have a replacement on the way to hope this will fix the issue. The rep at Allied did recommend I get one more battery for a total of 4 48v 30AH each though I feel this is over killed and have seen many carts run on 2 of these batteries.

I do appreciate all the input and help.

i know this is a older post, but i just wanted to say thank you... i fixed a 2007 DS that was having the drop out issue. i soldered the diode into pin 9 wire and fixed!!!! my question now is what causes it to need this? i mean it ran fine all these years and then one day.... something in the controller must burn out.
