Thank you VA, that's what I assumed when I started out. I borrowed a brand new controller from the local golf course and installed it. no change. I guess they could both be pooched but that would be crazy odds.

What is the best aftermarket controller and place to buy from? I'm in Canada so that probably complicates things.

Competitively priced.
User friendly.
Reliable.
Excellent customer support. (BTW, they are in Canada)
And... Programmable from your smart phone. Change it on the fly.

They got rid of their electric fleet and had parts left over.

Okay so I retested the voltage to the key and T/R switch. 53V everywhere. Not sure what I was doing before.

Anything else I can check before getting a third controller?
