Default Blown Up

So this is the real question has anyone bypassed the governor and blown up there motor? I hear a lot about it but I haven't seen any posts that state it has happened. I am a little worried about my wife blowing up the motor if it can be done.

I've never had a problem but I know when to back off too. If your worried about it, leave it connected and just tighten the 10mm nut.

I didn't have any problems when I was running the stock engine with no gov. Just can't run it flat out for long, got to know when to back off.

When it started to float the valves, pop, and cut out (usually around 35 or 40 on my old 99 G16), it was time to back off. This only happened when I was driving it on the road. Off road, I never really got it wide open except when I won those two trophies with it at the bonanza that year (the 500 and drag race).
