i need a little more help i believe i need a new controller as the solenoid just clicks and all circuits and switches check out. i do not know what controller i need i know it is a curtis but there are a few different ones amperage wise.also i need schooling on the slang like what is pds non pds. dcm etc.

Check across the solenoid and make sure it is closing. I had one that drove me crazy because it clicked but was not making. If you don't have a meter to check it, you can jack up the rearend, put it in foward or reverse and jumper across the big leads on the solenoid and see if it will go. Solenoids are cheaper than controllers.

Stock controller is 275A. Replacement is straightforward. Can go aftermarket with any number of controller mfr's.

Non PDS/DCS = Fleet = series wound
PDS = "Precision Drive System" = EZGO 2nd gen regenerative drive system. Shunt wound.
DCS = "Drive Control System" = EZGO 1st gen regenerative drive system. Shunt wound.

Good luck.
