Default 18 hp Vangaurd engine

Well im new here so im sorry if I posted this in the wrong place. But anyways, there is a guy willing to sell me a 18 hp vangaurd engine. He said it fit in his yamaha, but he dont know if it will fit in my 95 ezgo medalist. Do you know if it will fit? or if there are special engine mounts required to fit it? this is the third place i have posted this, in hopes someone could help me out. Any input would be great.

Thanks.

You Can get an engine mount here. ( www.alphacarts.com ) from Frank. He speacializes in e-z-go's. It should fit with a little creative thinking and time.

Frank aka Walkntall is the guy to talk to about dropping a big block in your cart. He has some performance goodies to perk up that Briggs also.

Ok, now what about the connections between the forward/reverse, brake and acceleration cable (I think thats all of them). Do they need to have different mounts to connect it to the engine or are they the same as stock?
Thanks

Forward and reverse should be fine. The throttle depends if you have the govenor or not.

The only thing that will be different is your choke and throttle cable. They arent a big deal. When you get to that point we can help you out.
