Default G16 Controller Repair

I have a 1998 Yamaha G16 that moved slightly sometimes when pressing the gas pedal. After some investigating, I suspected the speed controller.

I ended up opening the sealed controller and found a lot of corrosion as well as 2 MOSFETs and 2 resistors that have damage on them.

Can someone help me figure out what these components are so I can try to repair the controller?

I attached a photo of the MOSFETs and resistors.

Thank you!

IRFZ48V mosfets are probably available at places like Digikey. Resistors also.

Should 48V MOSFETs be in a 36V Motor controller?

They are not 48V mosfets. That is just the part number. Look them up!

Other than some cosmetic water damage, I see no reason to conclude that the mosfets or resistors are bad.

Just replacing suspect parts may not get you a working controller. You may have some failed mosfets but something made them fail. Often replacing them doesn't fix the problem because something else caused them to fail. Do you know how to test mosfets? If not, you're shooting blind.

I looked them up, but I am unable to find replacements or cross-reference them.

The destroyed components are not pictured. I don't know how someone would help me identify replacements if that was the case.

I can only suspect water intrusion but I'm almost positive I should replace components that are broken into pieces. I'll try replacing what is obviously broken and go from there tho.

Hopefully, someone can direct me to the parts I asked about tho as I am spending all my time here trying to convince others that I know what part I need to replace instead of please getting help on what the part is and finding replacement components.
