Default Heim joints what is your lube of choice for those

Squeaky jakes joints? is there a better joint for the Jakes Long travel lift? I had to replace the ram assist on my lifted excursion after just 17 years of hard use and the ones on that one up off road ram were outstanding even my old ones were quiet.

I just use oil. I keep an pump can with clean used hydraulic oil mixed with probably 20% STP for primary use on my lathe's ways. It makes a great general lube as it really sticks around. lol

I use chain oil. Any kind.....chainsaw chain oil, bicycle chain oil, they all seem to help keep things quiet.

I use dry lube, it stays cleaner for longer. The one I have has teflon in it.

My cart is at the beach so I'm fighting corrosion as well as squeaks, have been using Fluidfilm with good results. Prevents corrosion with better lubrication than Corrosion X.

Fluid Film is the best anti rust product I know of. I used to use it on my snow plows and kept them looking nearly new for years. I undercoat my cars with them every other year. With that said, Fluid Film is not that good of a lube and attracts dirt quite easily. It has no petroleum grease in it and is water soluble, which means it washes off. It does displace water like WD40. So if you use it often it can work well as a lube, it just doesn't last long and washes off. There are, however, some different formulas they offer that are higher grade, but are usually not stocked in most stores.
