Wiring Schematic Tomberlin e4?
First post! I just purchased a 2008 Tomberlin Emerge 4 seater (foreword facing). I can’t get anything on the cart working. The prior owner screwed with the wiring and now I’m lost. I’ve worked on numerous carts but this is my first Tomberlin. Does anyone have an extensive wiring schematic for the harness that runs from battery bay to dash? And also, the appropriate wiring setup on the solenoid mounted next to (what I believe is) the dc converter? The gentleman I bought it from cut and spliced several wires Also, battery charger is throwing charger fault code 5 flashes. Saying replace charger. I temporarily have charged the entire pack to 47.3 volts. Items that were “tampered” with: key switch (installed aftermarket 4-pin lawnmower key switch), Fwd/Rev switch (Added a Aftermarket) factory still present, wires at the solenoid. Don’t judge lol I got the cart for $300!

This is a website that has the Service manual that you can print and have for your records but you better have a lot of paper and toner. In the manual, you will find that it is the most completely nondescript manual ever, there is no plane wiring diagram that breaks down colors, and what they do. Finding and identifying wires come down to tracing the wires. I am still working on my cart now I have a 2008 Emerge E4 as well and it's a nightmare. Since for the past 3 to 4 weekends and some nights I have been chasing wires looking for shorts and where they go, I might be able to take some of the footwork out for you and help you. Please add pics of the back of the key switch and the reverse switch from everything I have read you cant replace Tomberlin parts with random parts such as an EZgo key switch now that might be incorrect.

Re: Wiring Schematic Tomberlin e4?
I'm really sorry about the delayed response. So it looks to me that the only thing I see that it is wrong is your Parking break sensor is not plugged in. Under the boot of your parking break you will see a sensor if the sensor is not plugged in the cart will not send power to the 48v solenoid. The photos I have attached show the break sensor which has a roller on it. There is a photo of my 12 volt solenoid. Also there is a photo of my connector that goes to the break sensor.
